Check out my Front Porch! It's made with real wood, not composite, and has a unique X design on the front. The ash wood posts give it a natural, organic vibe that contrasts nicely with the modern white and black exterior. It's all about design and craftsmanship, bringing together the best of classic and contemporary styles.
It's a beautiful September day in Wisconsin, so I decided to recoat my front porch posts with Danish Oil because the sun had them pretty faded. The below pictures show one post recoated and the other not done yet to see the difference.

I used Watco Danish Oil in Medium Walnut to recoat the ash wood posts to bring out the natural richness and grain of the wood again after being a bit bleached out by the sun. Easy for anyone to do, you don't need to be a professional painter by any means!
While I was at it, I also put a coat of Natural Danish Oil on the "Eyebrow" Wood Trim above the garage door really helping to bring out the color of the Doug Fir wood beam.

Below our some during construction pics when we first starting working on the front porch installing the tongue and groove ceiling, and before the posts were oiled.

Beautiful exterior porch light fixture adds the finishing touch!

The wrought iron style house numbers I bought on Amazon, love them!
