This year, we decided to embrace a more modern approach to our Christmas tree decor. Our ornaments consisted of black, gold, natural, and metallic green colors, creating a unique and eye-catching display matching the organic modern theme of our new home. We also purchased a new basket weave tree skirt from Hobby Lobby to complete the look. This change in decor brought a fresh and exciting vibe to our holiday season.

Easy DIY - Stocking Name Tags
Homemade wooden name tags. Found these wooden blanks on Amazon along with an assortment of wooden beads and painted/dyed them the colors we wanted. Drilled a small hole in the wood tag and used jute rope to string it all together. Used my Cricut to make stencils for all the names and black chalk paint to do the stenciling.
The wooden bead sizes were 16mm 20mm 25mm 30mm. But Cyber Monday has good deals on other packs, just not the variety pack if you want just one size.

The black lanterns were from Walmart along with the flameless battery candles which are awesome because you can program with a remote how long for them to stay on. The deer was from Target. The other items I've had for a long time. The wreath I created.
I created these 2 cuties a few years ago...LOVE still! I got the ideas off of Pinterest of course and put my own twist on each of them!
