If I Can Redesign a House and a Rabbit Kennel… Why Not a Camper Too?!
Y’all already know I love giving spaces a glow-up—whether it’s a cozy room or even a rabbit kennel—so naturally, my camper was next in line! The previous owner had already done some repainting, so I decided to jump in and make it feel more like us. Now, it totally matches the vibe I’ve got going on in my home. 😁

The DIY Details:
I created a custom batten accent wall using thin pine boards and leftover Behr black paint from my house.
That cute gold hoop wreath? Threw it together in about 10–15 minutes using what I already had in my craft stash.
I added woven plastic baskets (from SHEIN or Temu) with a staple gun. Not just pretty—they’re actually functional for extra storage!
Updated the wood coat hook by swapping the white wood and chrome hooks for warm cedar and matte black hooks. So much cozier!
The cabinet hardware got an upgrade too—out with the dated pulls, in with modern champagne bronze handles. I had extras from our home build. 😉

Over to the Kitchen Side:
Painted the lower cabinets black to help everything (fridge and heat vent included) blend more seamlessly.
Replaced all the pulls with the same champagne bronze handles. I didn’t have a matching knob, so I spray-painted the original.
Found a rustic magnetic board at a rummage sale—perfect for spice and tea storage on the side wall!
Added creative storage from last year’s SHEIN haul: knife rack, spice holders, utensil trays. In a mini camper, every inch counts!

Found a rustic magnetic board at a rummage sale to use for spice and tea storage on the side wall. Knife, spice and utensil storage I purchased last year from Shein. Need all the creative storage solutions you can find in a mini camper!!

The Little Things Matter:
Used Magnolia Home peel-and-stick wallpaper on the inside of the bathroom door for a pop of personality. It didn’t work in my mudroom, but it’s perfect here!
Removed the original vinyl-covered pane strips from the ceiling and replaced them with natural wood. It’s better—but still missing that wow factor.
Honestly, I didn’t have time to repaint all the white and cream-colored areas, but eventually that’s on my to-do list. You know me—I’ll get there!
