Snowball's 2nd Birthday!
What’s a bunny’s favorite dessert? Carrot cake, of course! Follow this recipe to make a delicious, nutritious cake for your bunny.

Carrot Cake Topped with Thin Sliced Apples
INGREDIENTS:
¼ cup oats
1 tbsp. basil leaves
1 green leaf lettuce
3 tbsp. shredded carrot
1/2 overripe banana
apple slices for topping (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat your oven to 350° F. Place oats, basil, lettuce and carrot into food processor, if you have one. We don't have a food processor, so we chopped and mixed by hand.
Press the dough into the round dough cutter. Use your fingers to flatten the top, so that the dough forms a round cake inside the dough cutter.
Bake the cake inside the dough cutter at 350° for 15 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes.
Mash ¼ of an overripe banana with a fork until smooth.
Spoon the mashed banana onto the top of the cake, and spread to cover the top with banana frosting.
Remove the cake from the dough cutter. Add apple slices to decorate the top if desired.

Ava went all out this year by making Snowball a birthday banner and blowing up a couple balloons! :) And of course, Ava loves helping in the kitchen so she helped grate the carrot and hand mixed the cake and mashed the banana for the "frosting".
I guess I have to get a bunny if I want to try make a bunny cake😂
